Since COVID-19 there has been a 500 percent increase in web and videoconferencing use with 87 percent of workers saying that videoconferencing helps them feel more connected to their colleagues and other stakeholders. — TrustRadius

How we communicate in a remote world has become critical to our success. Join @Carol Vernon, president of Communications Matters, for the October DC Swap to explore the next level of effective communications via videoconference.

Learn how to identify your virtual communications style and explore how that style can be leveraged effectively — or sometimes misunderstood. Participants will walk away with tips on how to adapt your preferred communications style to improve relationships, increase productivity, and be successful in 2020 and beyond.

Without honed leadership skills, a strong presence, and the ability to communicate effectively, leaders and their teams can’t achieve their full potential. Before forming her firm in 2006, Carol worked as a senior leader with trade associations and also on Capitol Hill. Carol is trained and certified in leadership assessment tools including MBTI, DISC, numerous 360s, Emotional Intelligence, and communication style preferences.
