According to Accenture, cybersecurity breaches have increased 11% since 2018 and 64% since 2014. These risks may include lost data, system downtime, lost revenue, and reputational harm. The April Association Xchange (AXC) program provides an overview of the 2021 cybersecurity landscape including what threats are trending and how your association can minimize its risk.

The speakers, @James Marquis, Chief Innovation Officer, 501Works, LLC; and @Derek Symer, CPCU, Partner, Director AHT Nonprofits, AHT Insurance; will share their knowledge of reducing risk using examples of recent cyberattacks and ransomware threats. They also will discuss solutions for minimizing cybersecurity risk, the importance of setting up monitoring programs, why your association needs an Incident Response Plan, and how employee training can reduce phishing and other attacks. The discussion will conclude with an examination of what an association’s cyber insurer will likely require in 2021.
