What’s Next? The Digital Association Revolution Post-Pandemic

According to a report by McKinsey Global Survey of executives, the pandemic accelerated technology use by seven years and many of these changes are here to stay. Like association executives, global executives said that they were surprised at how quickly they were able to adopt new technologies.

Since COVID, technology has allowed association executives to work from home, hold board meetings and conferences via videoconferencing, elevated online learning, generated more data and AI, increased use of robots and drones, and created additional digital and touchless payments. Further, cybersecurity has become a major issue as many association executives are working at least a few days from home.

Join @Maggie McGary, CEO and Chief Strategist, McGary & Associates, for this session that looks at some of the new technologies we’re using because of the pandemic and points out which ones will stay. Maggie also will provide some predictions of advances in technologies that might not even be on our radar screens but may play a role in the future of association management.
